About The Event
Join us for a lecture at Mill Race Village on Wednesday May 29 at 7:00 pm in the New School Church.
Joseph Oldenburg, Librarian and Archivist, will be giving a lecture on Bathtub Gin and Rum Running: Prohibition in Detroit and Michigan.
The lecture is free of charge although donations are accepted at the door to help defray costs.
Immediately following the lecture there will be a MEMBERS-ONLY AFTERGLOW in the Cady Inn. Sample gin and rum cocktails from the Prohibition Era will be served with hor d'oevres and desserts.
Memberships will be available for purchase at the door.
